The Chinese Institute of Engineers – USA (CIE-USA) is a non-profit professional organization founded in 1917.

It comprises engineers, scientists, and other professionals of Chinese heritage from around the world.

The organization promotes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through various events and initiatives.
Mission

CIE-USA is dedicated to advancing Asian Pacific Americans (APA) in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.

It also aims to enhance the social and economic well-being of its members both locally and internationally.
Activities

Hosting conferences, seminars, workshops, and training classes across the United States.

Sponsoring the DiscoverE Future City Competition and participating in the DiscoverE Advisory and Diversity Council.

Organizing the annual Asian American Engineer of the Year Award (AAEOY).

Six regional chapters: New York, Dallas, San Francisco, New Mexico, Seattle, and Environment.
